With HSDPA, a UMTS connection reaches a maximum speed of 7.2 Mbit / s. With HSUPA, however, increases to the upload, speeds of up to 1.45 Mbit / s in the upload are possible. However, there is also already a new development. With LTE, the successor of UMTS in the starting blocks is already. LTE will allow speeds of 20 MB / s.
